The Manuel Firmino Market will once again host, between the 13th and 15th of May, the Aveiro Craft Beer Festival.
This Festival is a journey into the culture of beer in a wide and dynamic format, where consumers, professionals, companies, entrepreneurs and agents of innovation contact and experience the fabulous world of this secular drink, always current and in constant evolution and revolution.
There will be 20 breweries with more than 140 novelties, including Cerveja Luzia from neighboring Mealhada, 12 Marias from Estarreja, or the locals Lovecraft and Maldita – one of the first craft beers to appear on the Portuguese market.
There will be several activities that you can find at this festival, namely commented tastings, harmonization and culinary confections. There will also be music with some guest DJs, who will help create the right atmosphere for tasting and fun in this unique space in Aveiro.
To enjoy this event, you must purchase the official cup of the event, which costs €3. From there, consumption and respective expenses are up to you! The beers will have different prices and can vary between €2.50 and €4. Even inside the market, you will have several options and food suggestions, because drinking without eating…. You already know that it may not go well, right? 🙂
